FORMERLY KNOWN AS LAKSHMIVILASBANK STAFF COOPERATIVE THRIFT & CREDIT SOCIETY LTD.,

DBS Bank India Saff Cooperative Thrift & Credit Society Ltd. was Established in the year 1977 and originally registered as a Cooperative Society under Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1961.Later, in 1980, it was converted into a Multi State Cooperative Society under the Multi State Cooperative Societies Act, 1942. Since its inception, its operating results are very encouraging, and happy to informthat our society is consistently maintaining ‘A’ class status since 1981-82, including the period under report MSCSRegistration Date : 21 Apr 1980 

OBJECTS
The principal object of the society wi l be to promote the interests of a l its Members, present in the states/UTs to attain their social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the cooperative principles. The detailed objects sha l be as follows:
a) Generaly to encourage Thrift, Self help and cooperation among the members;
b) Toborrow funds from members or others to be utilized for granting loans to members for useful purpose ;
c) To promote the economic and social betterment of its members through mutual aid in accordance with the
cooperative principles ;
d) Toundertake such other activity conducive to further these objectives.
FUNCTIONS:
In furtherance of the above objects, the society may undertake any or a l the fo lowing activities;
1) Issue of loans and advances to the members of the Society;
2) Anyother functions as may be decided by Board through a resolution from time to time
